This lesson by is going to focus on hearing the modes and understand how to build modal chord progressions using triads. Triads are small 3 note chords constructed with a Root, 3rd and 5th.

Triads are arpeggios made out of three notes: the root, 3rd and 5th. In this lesson, we'll develop some ideas using the triads found in the A Major scale.

We will work with triads but first we´ll talk about the major pentatonic scale. The idea is to practice the five different pentatonic boxes, and learn to play the melody and improve using the major pentatonic scale using all the neck.
